Fireside Design Build-Saul Miller Drive

The ability to remove two entire walls allowed for a completely different floor plan and Fireside Design Build designed a virtually new house inside an old house. Reconfiguring different floor levels meant they were able to create appropriately proportioned “rooms” within a very open concept layout, including a foyer, dining room, kitchen, and home office.  Two new small windows on the south wall, as well as a slightly larger south-facing window, bring in all the natural light you would desire in a kitchen year-round! Natural walnut hardwoods with two accenting stain colours, pure white base cabinets and quartz countertops provide visual interest while a unique 12″ deep niche above the cooktop acts not only as additional counter space but a functional feature with glass mosaic tile and accent lighting. A beautiful new space for a family that enjoys cooking and entertaining guests in a way that allows them to do both effortlessly.
