Did you know that in Canada, women represent only 4% of the construction trade workforce? Build Together, Women of the Building Trades is a national program that promotes, supports and mentors women in the skilled construction trades. When the Manitoba Building Trades contacted us to do some headshots for the Manitoba division of Build Together, we jumped at the chance! We spent one afternoon not only photographing these amazingly kick ass women, but inundated them with so many questions, and were inspired by their stories of determination, and braving a world that is traditionally male-dominated. Truly amazing women!
